Meet our Leadership Team
Pronto Insurance is dedicated to the Hispanic community because we are part of the Hispanic community, from the top down.
CEO & President
Mr. Barcena has been our President since 2010 and also serves as President of our affiliates, including Pronto General Agency, Ltd. Before joining Pronto, he occupied several executive positions in two multinational companies in the manufacturing industry.
Chief Operating Officer
Ms. Knight has been the COO of Pronto since June 2017. Prior to joining Pronto, she was the Vice President of Claims at Kemper Insurance. Previous titles at Kemper include Assistant VP of Auto Material Damage, and Director of Claim Shared Services.
Executive VP of Pricing and Carrier Relations
Mr. Rendon started with Pronto Insurance during January of 2004, managing two retail stores in Laredo, TX. When Pronto MGA was formed in 2005, Mr. Rendon was a partner and oversaw the operation as General Manager. As Pronto continued to expand, it required a granular pricing structure and a diverse carrier and reinsurance panel. Since 2011, Mr. Rendon has focused on Pricing and Carrier Relations.
VP of Sales and Franchising
Mr. Williams has been Vice President of Sales and Franchising since April 2016. He previously served as our Director of Franchising. Prior to joining Pronto, he was VP of Retail Operations with Tully’s Coffee Corporation in Seattle, Washington. Previous titles include VP and Partner at Alternative Sports, and Director of Operations and Franchise Management for Arby’s Restaurant Group, both in Seattle.
Director of Franchise Operations
Mr. Santoy has been with Pronto Insurance since 2005, and has held several sales leadership roles during his tenure at Pronto. He has served as Director of Franchise Operations since 2013.

Mr. Varela has been integral to the growth of Pronto Insurance since 2008, and has been the Franchise Sales and Development Manager since 2012.
